You visit Nizwa, the former capital and religious centre of Oman. If your stay falls on a Friday, the first highlight is the animal market. Thereafter stroll through the vegetable, silver and general markets before you enter the round tower fort, Oman’s most visited national monument. Passing by Bahla and the biggest fortress of the country, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you arrive at Jabrin Castle. Majestic Mountains
Our first stop is the Bait Na'aman fort, the imam's private residence, dating back to 300 years ago, where you can get to know the past of Oman through artillery, khanjars and the numerous furniture and accessories of traditional jewelry and porcelain. After the visit we will continue towards AL Awabi and Wadi Bani Auf, a truly unique path for those who are passionate about sedimentary rocks and a wonderful canyon to explore on foot. We will go to Bilad Sayt, a characteristic and ancient village of the Oman overlooking the mountain: you will be enchanted by the ancient charm of traditional houses between rocks and multicolored terrace crops, the stop includes a packed lunch and, if the weather permits, a walk to visit the Serpent Gorge
