Nizwa
This is a city which is famous for its historical monuments, handicrafts and agricultural products. It is considered as one of the oldest city in the sultanate of Oman. Wahiba Sands
Wahiba sands are longitudinal dunes running south from eastern hajjars to the arabian sea. The dunes have various shades of colors which may range from orange to amber hues. It is a very attractive and beautiful place to be and many day excursions are being carried here. A great place to visit.
Salalah
This is a best destination of Oman which is famous for its Khareef. The year round salalah's coconut fringed beaches and fruit plantations offer a flavour of Oman's former territories in East Africa. The houses which stand proud in the plantations are designed according to the traditional Arab architecture. One feels more relaxed while staying on its superb beach.
Jabal Akhdar
One of the most scenic areas in Oman, coupled with the friendly local inhabitants, this region is a natural spot for tourism. Attractions include towns of Wadi Bani Habib, Saiq and Al Ayn where local farmers raise grapes, pomegrantes and walnuts. This destination is a part of the Al Hajar Mountains range and forms one of the most spectacular areas.
Jabal Shams
This is a destination known as the highest point - Mountain of the Sun. It is the highest in Oman and the whole of eastern Arabia. Jabal Shams is an popular sightseeing, off-roading and trekking spot.
Musandam
It is a picturesque town which is separated from the rest of the country by the east coast of UAE. It is also known as Norway of Arabia. It has small fishing villages, Its coastline is peppered with many small islands and inlets, all teeming with bird and marine life.
Bahla
Bahla is a UNESCO World Heritage Site town, located 40 km away from Nizwa, and about 200 km from Oman's capital Muscat which lies in the Ad Dakhiliyah region of Oman. It is well known as home of one of the oldest fortresses in Oman.
